Voodoo Child is a variety very closely related to Sugar Dragon, in the Hylocereus Setaceus family. It is highly productive and very flavorful.
The plant variety is very tough, resisting heat and cold better than most varieties. This is a trait shared by its siblings, Sugar Dragon and Neon.
The plant produces abundant crops of sweet, rose-flavored fruits exceeding 20 brix. These fruits can reach about1/2 pound in size, with a deep purple, crisp yet melting flesh. The flavor is as good as any top flight dragon fruit variety.
Voodoo Child is a universal pollinator, providing you with many waves of flowers throughout the dragon fruit season.
This variety is relatively cold tolerant.
