MLx1 is an extremely rare and exciting cross between the ‘Colombian Yellow’ Dragon Fruit and ‘Houghton’. A brand new dragon fruit introduction from an experienced grower in Southern California. Very few individuals in the world have this variety.
The MLx1 is a delicate combination of yellow and purple, with a very high sugar content from the yellow genetics, and complex berry flavor from the Houghton genetics (the parent of Sugar Dragon).
This variety is SELF FERTILE. MLx1 takes half as long as other yellow-skinned varieties to ripen.
