Maria Rosa is a hybrid variety between Hylocereus Undatus and Hylocereus Guatemalensis. 

This is a very productive variety that has commercial potential.

The exterior of the fruit is sometimes described as a ‘hot pink’, with beautiful noticeable fins protruding outward. Fruits are fairly large. The flesh is a mild pink with a refreshing lemony flavor profile. At tastings, some people choose Maria Rosa as their favorite tasting variety.

Maria Rosa is a very sun-tolerant variety.
